- Increase the strength of Building Maintenance and Occupancy Standards Bylaw and related ‘unsightly premises’ bylaws and pursue offenders by increased bylaw enforcement measures.
- Continue to work with owners and tenants to encourage compliance and beautification goals.
- Lobby the province for legislation to provide municipalities with better tools to deal more effectively with derelict property owners.
